The Islamic State group has made a name for itself for its high definition quality propaganda and use of Internet forums as well as trolling social media to communicate battle plans while bragging about recent atrocities its members have committed behind a goat.
But in an epic move, the razor sharp minds of an Air Force anti-intelligence unit turned the tables on the terrorist’s use of social media terrorist meet up page and essentially turned a selfie that a terrorist took in front of an Islamic State group command building into a verified target for an Air Force bombing run to hell.
Airman with the 361st Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group, based in Hurlburt, Fla., discovered the social media post and, after verification through the proper channels took place (they joined the site and liked the photo), three powerful Joint Direct Attack Munition bombs obliterated the command building 22 hours later, as they posted HA HA We da bomb!
Officials with Air Force intelligence told Defense Tech that they used a wide range of tools, including social media, AIM, and Google Hangouts to produce viable Islamic State group targets.
As long as these moronic jihadist jackasses keep taking selfies in front of their headquarters and posting them on Terroristbook with locations included, that means fewer American lives put at risk to produce targets on the ground in the area – but more internet trolls on the U.S. payroll.
And if they don’t, then the U.S. military has denied the barbaric radical Islamists one of their most powerful recruiting tools….. the inter webs!
Either way, it’s U.S. Air Force 1, Islamic State group selfie-takers, 0 and who ever owned the building a -1.
