WWE has confirmed on their website that Rusev suffered an injury at Tuesday’s SmackDown TV taping, in a bit of irony Rusev accutually broke his foot off in his Smackdown opponents rear end. In the department of art intimidating life, Russian President Putin took credit for the injury claiming Russian superiority.  WWE also noted that Rusev is currently being evaluated for a lower leg injury and his opponent for possible rear end damage.

WWE is promising an update on Rusev’s status as we go into Sunday’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
