In an appalling recent decision, the GOP has voted to deport the Statue of Liberty.  After opening a history book for the first time in his life, Senator Ihave Nolif realized that the Statue of Liberty was actually a gift, given to us from France.

“This is utterly reprehensible and completely despicable.  Those Frenchies have never done anything for us!” He screamed during a press release from the replica Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas.  “We built great monuments like the one I’m shouting from, and the free market will allow us to keep building these monuments.  Family Values!”

A top Republican aide added “We can’t find any paperwork saying that she (The Statue of Liberty) has a green card.  Some of us don’t want to send her back but, rules are rules”

No Democrats were available for comment, as their latest round of hiding from conflict has them under desks scattered through remote elementary schools in Utah.
